16th SEPTEMBER 2026
The Sheppey Community Cycling Club were at Sheppey College today at the Freshers Fayer. We have had some fun with a green screen borrowed from The UK Wolfpack along with their camera too.
These were some of the pictures that we took and had edited by our volunteer Jack Turner. There's also a crazy behind the scene set-up from some of our amazing team who were handing out leaflets and information about what our club does to help the community getting us out there and known.
Why not check out more of what we do on our facebook page and keep up to dates with our rides too:
Did you know that the Sheppey Community Cycling Club made it into the Sheerness Times Guardian?
The Sheppey Community Cycling Club work closely with the Sheppey Light Railway Greenway Project and help to test their new Cycling routes that they are currently working on through the Island. The latest project that they have been working on is a little seating area that they have along their route that connects Power Station Road, to Scrapsgate. We were privilaged to be invited to the ribbon cutting on the 27th June 2026 where they supplied drinks and a speech to celebrate the unveiling of the new seating area and sign with a vast amount of history about the Light Railway Greenway.
One of our Ride Leader's (Jack Turner) can be seen at the front of the ribbon in his Hi-Vis and helmet along with a bike from the ride we were completing that day.
